Why choose us, you might ask?
We’re friendly, funny, and a little geeky – just the right combination to make you feel comfortable and relaxed around us. In the office, however, bOB is uncompromising when it comes to perfecting your images.

We’re creative – bOB sees the opportunity for a great shot and does what he needs to in order to get it! (See bOB’s portfolio and blog for examples.)

We work with you to ensure your photos are what you envisioned – whether that means getting the poses and shots you desire or transforming images from colour to black and white. We’re open to discussing your needs.

Why do we not have a larger portfolio online?
bOB’s worked in photography for over 10 years but it’s mainly been at media companies. Our portfolio is smaller than some only because we wouldn’t breach confidentiality by including previous work in our galleries. As bOB now owns his own photography business, he’ll also actually own the rights to the pictures he takes and you’ll see these constantly being added to the online portfolio.
So far, we’re also not blogging more than a few shots of each shoot we do – because we’re so busy! We’ll invest more time into having a bigger blog in the near future.

What kind of high-end work has bOB done?
bOB has shot photos of Mayors of the Interior of BC, CEOs of companies, real estate panoramas, large high-end private parties at upscale restaurants, and acreage developments – we just can’t show you because bOB was working for someone else and doesn’t own the rights to the photos (so you know that your confidentiality will also be maintained!). bOB has also previously owned his own studio in Ontario, showcasing and overseeing the development of upcoming photographers and artists.

Why can you feel confident in choosing bOB HOmer as your photographer?
bOB is a quality professional photographer with professional equipment and over 10 years of expertise in using it! He’s dedicated and has had a passion for photography his whole life – he graduated from art school which had a large photography component, provided him with the education for technical sensibilities to match the depth of his creativity. bOB knows that, although much of photography comes down to math (really!), many photographers neglect the artistic side of the shoot. Even so, bOB continually strives to learn more as he keeps up with technology and advances. Furthermore, bOB is a member of the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International association and the Canada Wedding Photographers Association.
